This is a beautiful 18k white gold sapphire and diamond Art Deco ring made in France Circa 1920. As typical for French jewelers of that period. This ring has hallmarks on the outside of the band. The hallmark are "SP" for the jeweler, 750 for 18k, and 988 is apparently the model number. The deck size is 22.5 MM and the ring is a size 7 and weighs 7.2 grams. The diamonds are old mine French cut as are the sapphires. This lovely ring would be a great addition to any fine antique jewelry collection.
