16.38 Carat Natural Cats Eye Rubellite Tourmaline Cabochon Loose Gemstone (18.10 x 13.89 x 7.55 MM)

This is a beautiful natural untreated cats eye rubellite tourmaline. The color is a bright vivid pink red with a lot of luster. The eye is sharp and clearly visible, but not as strong as my green cats eye tourmaline or cats eye chrysoberyl. There is very little weight below the girdle unlike most phenomenon gems which are cut for weight retention and have a belly. The result is this stone looks much larger than 16.38 carats. This gem would be a great addition to a fine gemstone collection, or for that one of a kind creation.
